There is a legend of a mysterious lost magical book containing not only the key to understanding ancient wisdom of past generations lost through the centuries, but also a roadmap to the discernment of a technology of time travel.
It is said the book provided the insight which once opened a portal creating a bridge between worlds, the past and the future, and that the book contained a secret which unlocked a doorway to understanding the afterlife. A book so powerful that it was said to have been banned thousands of years ago, even burned, yet still somehow survived its attempted destruction.
The book’s very existence or whereabouts had long been forgotten, until one day a rumor began making its way around the internet that the book had somehow resurfaced and was now secretly being held and protected in the private library of a tech billionaire, though nobody could actually name the book’s current owner, or the place where it was being hidden. Still interest in the book was growing among both political and religious leaders, some of whom were calling for an investigation into the book’s whereabouts. While most of the world doubted the very existence of such a book, some feared what the possible discovery of such a cosmic Rosetta Stone might mean. Though no one really knew when the book was written, in what language it was originally penned, or its earliest title, in recent years it had become known as The Book of Grok.
