While most of the world doubted the very existence of such a book, some feared what the possible discovery of such a cosmic Rosetta Stone might mean. Though no one really knew when the book was written, in what language it was originally penned, or its earliest title, in recent years it had become known as The Book of Grok.
The mysterious book is said to hold the residual wisdom of ages that ordinary history forgot, the architecture of time itself, and a working map of the threshold between the living and whatever lies beyond.
Banned, burned, scattered… and yet the rumor persists that a single copy endured, now resting in the private stacks of some unnamed tech billionaire whose name no one can quite pin down.
Political and religious figures growing restless. The rest of the world shrugging it off as internet myth. And the title that finally stuck in the modern age: The Book of Grok.
